With 5 teams, each made up of 11 surfers, surfers of all ages hit the lineup to show their skills.

Each team had 120 minutes to make their mark, led by their captains and co-captains — and for a bit of fun, all captains hit the waves in their signature captain’s hats for a bonus scoring point.

The groms truly impressed everyone, showing tremendous leadership and courage throughout the day.

Special shoutouts to Max Agonostou, Lennox Archibald, Scarlett Rennie, Sarah Seuren and Eddie Maier (who also took home Grom of the Day).

The day’s Courage Award went to the fearless Dylan James, while Codie Jeffery earned Wave of the Day with an impressive 9.33 ride that left everyone in awe. Both Dylan and Codie were awarded Narval wetsuits for their exceptional performances.

The big overall team win went to McHenry Motors, whose teamwork and skill stood out across the heats.

“It was amazing to see the spirit of competition and camaraderie on full display,” said club president Jake Eisen.

“Our younger surfers really stepped up, and the atmosphere of fun, teamwork, and community was felt by everyone. Days like these remind us why we love being part of this club.

Overall, it was a fantastic event, and we’re already looking forward to the next comp. Big thanks to everyone who participated and supported!”
